[Press Release] Colorful is introducing two new high-end motherboards, the iGame Z790D5 Vulcan W/X. Initially introduced at Computex 2024, these motherboards offer a glimpse at the future.

Sporting the latest technology, including Wi-Fi 7 and USB4 40Gbps connectivity, Colorful promises stable overclocking, support for Intel’s latest CPUs, and a lot more with these new motherboards.

The Motherboards Come In Two Colors

The iGame Z790D5 Vulcan boasts a 19+1+1 Power Phase Design, and it even offers a LN2 mode for extreme overclocking. Rest assured, Colorful promises support for high-end chips like Intel’s Core i9 series.

In terms of memory, the flagship series supports DDR5 speeds as high as 7800MHz. Moving on to the storage, four M.2 slots are available for NVMe SSDs. Two of these support the  PCIe 5.0 x4 interface and include a large heatsink for optimal temperatures.

Six SATA 3 connectors also make it easy to configure multiple hard drives. In terms of I/O, Colorful includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1, six USB 3.2 Gen 2, and two USB Type-C ports, which come with Thunderbolt compatibility.

However, this is far from every strength of the iGame Z790D5 Vulcan. A dedicated Safe Boot button allows easy access to safe boot options, while the dual BIOS switch acts as a failsafe mechanism.
