- New rumor points towards Assassin’s Creed Hexe now releasing in June 2027.
- The development seems to have accelerated, as it was previously slated for late 2027.
- The success of its upcoming lineup will be essential for Ubisoft amid falling stocks.
As Ubisoft’s turmoil continues with low stocks, layoffs, and studio closures, it has a lot riding on its upcoming roster of games. These include the Black Flag Resynced and the next mainline entry in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Hexe.
According to a new report, Ubisoft wants to be efficient with its releases and has reportedly accelerated the development of Assassin’s Creed Hexe, and it is now targeting a June 2027 release from its previous rumoured holiday release.
Why it matters: Hexe is a very interesting prospect since it completely changes the core Assassin’s Creed franchise by introducing darker tones and witchcraft, which is previously unheard of in the series.

Ubisoft leaker, Rogue Tx, in a recent X post, has revealed that Hexe is now meant to release in June 2027. It seems that Ubisoft has expedited its development process, as its previous rumored release was later in the year.
This makes next year a big one for the French company, as it is also rumored to be preparing Far Cry 7 for the next year as well. However, the leaker also says that its development is currently struggling.

Nonetheless, this and the next year will be defining for the company as it will have to make some big moves to pull back its fans and the company’s lost reputation, and they will have to nail every aspect of their titles.
