Now Selling $70 Below MSRP!

The price of AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT has seen several discounts since launch, with a current discount lowering the price even further.

One of the AMD custom board partners, ASRock, has reduced the price of Phantom Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XT to $830 on Newegg. The new price tag is now $70 below AMD’s suggested price and $50 below its previous discounted price.

Since the launch of the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT, the card has always been available in stock with both reference and custom models. The current discounts on the current lineup of graphics cards should not be a surprise.

Retailers are now in a rush to lower pricing on their current inventory before mid-range options are made available in the market from both AMD and Nvidia, resulting in a focus shift of consumers to more budget-friendly options.

The Chinese market has also dropped the price on the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT a day before and is currently offering the most discount at 12% below MSRP. While the new $830 price tag on the ASRock Phantom Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XT on Newegg is 8% below MSRP.

Aside from ASRock, XFX has also discounted the price of its Speedster Merc 310 Black, which now retails for $850 on Newegg and Amazon. Among the two models, the XFX Radeon RX 7900 XT has the highest factory overclock of 2535 MHz compared to 2450 MHz on the ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT.

Sadly, the new discounts are only available on two custom models of AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT cards, but we might soon see value from other AIB as well, depending on the market. As for the Radeon RX 7900 XTX, we still have not seen any significant price drops.

What is currently the best option, in your opinion, the discounted ASRock Phantom Gaming RX 7900 XT or the cheaper Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti?
