This new milestone was just announced by publisher Focus Entertainment. To celebrate this milestone, Focus Entertainment has thanked the players and looks forward to collaborating with developer Asobo Studio again.
Initially, A Plague Tale: Requiem sold a million copies at launch. These results were considered impressive for a day-one Game Pass release that competed with massive titles like Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok in 2022.
It also found success on Game Pass, becoming the third most popular game on the service in no time. While the latest milestone has come much later than expected, it shows that Asobo Studio’s work is still being recognized.
The publisher confirms that it is working with Asobo Studio for a new project. With previous job listings pointing to another Plague Tale title, players will likely revisit this universe again in the coming years.
