Call Of Duty On Nintendo Consoles; Microsoft Entered 10-Year-Commitment

Finally, After 9 Years!

Since its debut, the Call of Duty series has been extremely well-liked. With the recent release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which dominated the gaming industry upon launch, the franchise is more significant than ever now.

While fans of the Call of Duty series on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox are enjoying the new installments, Nintendo fans have been upset because the last Call of Duty game they received was Call of Duty Ghosts in 2013, which was over nine years ago.

However, it appears like things may get better for Nintendo shortly as Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, recently tweeted that Microsoft has made a 10-year commitment to bring Call of Duty to Nintendo following the merger of Microsoft and Activision Blizzard.

Phil Spencer continued the thread by stating that Microsoft has also committed to continuing to offer Call of Duty on Steam when the Microsoft-Activision Blizzard merger is finalized.

Microsoft has been in a very tense situation over its acquisition of Activision Blizzard the past few months since large corporations like Google and Sony have not favored it. The deal is so significant that the authorities are also engaged, which has created a lot of issues for Microsoft.

However, things appear to be improving for Microsoft as the Microsoft-Activision Blizzard merger is now likely to be authorized by the FTC and has already been unconditionally approved in Serbia, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil.

We are excited and looking forward to seeing Call Of Duty on the Nintendo consoles. This is the limited information we have for now, but we will be looking for more news regarding Call of Duty in the future.
