Furthermore, Battlefield 2042 is the latest installment in the Battlefield series and has a concurrent of just 15k players. Almost 3x less than Battlefield 5. Though the game was released last year, the fans seem not to enjoy the latest installment in the franchise. The game had bugs and missing content on its release and has struggled since then.
Battlefield 5 got off to a rocky start at launch. The game was surrounded by controversy for its take on World War 2 and offered a buggy experience in many ways. However, Dice continued to work on the game, and Battlefield 5 today is significantly better than its state at launch.
Furthermore, Battlefield 5 has a lot of content to make the game interesting for fans. The game has various maps set in World War 2 and numerous guns. The title saw many updates post-launch, and fans grew to enjoy the game over time. Therefore, it makes sense that Battlefield 5 continues to see a healthy player base.
