Nvidia has been the center of attention lately. The company has been receiving criticism regarding its current GPU prices, despite the next generation being right around the corner. Nvidia is struggling to sell out GeForce RTX 30xx inventory.

The company has recently restarted the GeForce RTX 3080 12GB GPU production. This is likely an attempt to utilize the remaining GA102 stock. However, the next generation is nearly here. While the company struggles to sell older GPUs, Nvidia is likely preparing for the GeForce RTX 40xx line-up of graphics cards.

While Nvidia has been mostly silent about the next generation, this could soon end. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will take the stage at GTC 2022 on September 20 to share news on next-generation GPU architecture.

This means that work on Nvidia’s next-generation products is nearly finished. However, fans should note that Nvidia’s products are not limited to gaming graphics cards. The company has stated that AI strategy for business leaders will be the primary topic for the keynote.

Though, this does not eliminate the possibility of the gaming graphics cards showing up. GTC is not limited to a single keynote; the event takes place over 3 days. This leaves enough room for Nvidia to tease or discuss upcoming Ada Lovelace GPUs.

Moreover, Nvidia’s CEO has also mentioned that he is excited to reveal more information on gaming products. He said,

“I look forward to next month’s GTC conference, where we will share new advances of RTX reinventing 3D graphics and gaming.”

This could mean that Nvidia will also have some new information for their gaming graphics cards. Ada Lovelace has been a hot topic recently, and it would not be surprising to see Nvidia finally talking about the new products.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has also mentioned that technologies like RTX will be noted. The company saw substantial ray-tracing improvements with Ampere graphics cards, so it would not be far-fetched to expect similar jumps for the new generation.

A recently leaked document has also hinted at RTX 4090 production, hinting at an imminent release. All of this sounds very exciting. Months of leaks have led up to this moment, and gaming enthusiasts could finally learn more about the upcoming graphics cards.
