Today, the legendary Hideo Kojima has revealed a bunch of details about what happened during the Sony split and his plans for Physint. Following the Xbox partnership, he wants to turn the game into movies, TV, anime, and more.
Why it matters: Kojima has stated multiple times that he has always been interested in developing movies, and with Physint, a spiritual predecessor to Metal Gear Solid games, he is seeing his dream materialize into reality.
In an interview with IGN, Hideo Kojima went in depth on his partnership with Xbox. He didn’t want to cancel the project since the actors were locked in and details had been finalized, so they had to find another partner.
