Stellar Blade was finally released on PC this year after a lot of demand from the fandom. As usual, the game was restricted to countries with PSN availability, but the developer urged Sony to release it globally, allowing all fans to enjoy it.

On launch, the game saw immense success as it sold 1 million copies on the PC platform almost 20 times faster than it did on the PS5. Now, Shift Up has reported a profit for Q2 2025, mainly because of how successful the game was on PC.

Why it matters: Releasing a game on PC is always a strong choice, as it offers access to one of the largest and most diverse gaming markets in the world.
