Dune: Awakening was first announced over three years ago during the Gamescom 2020, and after much anticipation, the title has finally been released.
The game is performing amazingly well on Steam, currently the top-selling game on the platform, with an impressive 88% positive reviews.
Why it matters: The recent demos of the game were met with positive reviews, which already suggested that Dune: Awakening would have a grand launch.
As seen above, Dune: Awakening is currently sitting at the top position on the Steam best-selling games, beating many huge titles like Stellar Blade, Lies of P, Elden Ring Nightreign, and others.
It should also be noted that this list does not include free-to-play titles like Counter-Strike 2 and others, but it’s still an impressive start from the title. Not only is the title doing well on the top sellers, but the reviews of the title are even better.
Just over a day since its release, Dune: Awakening has already received over 16K reviews so far, and 88% of them are positive, which means that over 14K reviews of the title are positive, and it has only around 1.8K negative reviews.
Fans are having a great time with the title, as many reviews suggest that it offers an immersive experience and a vast, expansive world. Most reviews agree that the game truly offers the Dune experience and is worth investing in.
However, the title is only available for PC, as the game hasn’t been released on consoles yet. The release date for the console hasn’t been announced yet, but it is expected to be released sometime in 2026.
