- Ubisoft has recently released 16 of its major games to the PC Xbox app.
- The company released them the same day it revealed some significant losses in its financial report.
- Those games include popular titles like Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Far Cry 6, and Watch Dogs 2.
Ubisoft has been suffering for years now due to releasing poor games. The company has lost its touch, and it is being punished for that. It recently had to partner with Tencent in order to survive as AC Shadows’ sales just weren’t enough.
The company has also recently released its financial report, and it reveals massive losses. Following that, Ubisoft has released 16 of its major games to the PC Xbox app.
Why it matters: Ubisoft didn’t support the PC Xbox app first, but now it has released 16 of its major games, including Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Just recently, both companies have announced that these games will now be available on the Xbox app on the PC.
The following are all the 16 games available to buy and download on the PC Xbox App:
- Assassin’s Creed Origins
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
- Assassin’s Creed Shadows
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
- Far Cry 5
- Far Cry New Dawn
- Far Cry 6
- Immortals Fenyx Rising
- Riders Republic
- South Park: The Fractured but Whole
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint
- Tom Clancy’s The Division 2
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction
- Watch Dogs 2
- Watch Dogs Legion
Now, those PC players who wanted to use the Xbox app to download Ubisoft games can do so. However, do note that you would still have to link your Xbox and Ubisoft accounts.
Also, another important thing to note is that these games don’t support the Xbox Play Anywhere feature. So, if you buy it on the PC via the Xbox app, it won’t appear in your library on the Xbox Series S|X. For that, you would have to buy it again on the console, which is extremely disappointing.
Still, it is interesting that Ubisoft launches these games the same day it releases the financial report that paints Assassin’s Creed Shadows as a success, but also reveals some major losses.
