As the game nears its 10th anniversary, Geralt’s voice actor has reflected on how CDPR’s third entry in the franchise stood out for its time and continues to do so.
Why it matters: The Witcher 3 is considered one of the best games ever developed. It resonated well with the fans and even won the Game of The Year award in 2015.
In an interview with GamesRadar, voice actor Doug Cockle praised the title for being a milestone in game development. The quality it featured in 2015 was unparalleled, and it has aged well even 10 years later.

While there were a couple of The Witcher games before Wild Hunt, they weren’t as popular. The Witcher 3 was the title that brought the books and the franchise to a wider audience and opened up a huge new fantasy world for many people.
Since then, the title has received a next-gen upgrade that gave it a massive graphical overhaul. Moreover, The Witcher 4 has also been announced with Ciri as the protagonist and Geralt returning, although not as the main character.
