[Press Release] The long anticipated release of Noctua’s NH-D15 G2 cooler is finally here. This cooler is accompanied by the NF-A14x25r G2 fans, with both G2 options marking a commitment to refined products for the best results.
We faced various challenges in designing and manufacturing, but we’ve cut no corners.
-Noctua CEO
Noctua explains that the NH-D15 G2 is meticulously crafted. Thanks to 8 heatpipes, the NF-A14x25r G2 fans, and asymmetrical fin stacks, the cooler is quieter and performs better than its predecessor. All in all, the NH-D15 G2 can even rival AIO coolers.
The company has also made the cooler compatible across more devices for maximum support. Thanks to the new offset construction, it can clear the top PCIe x16 slot on most motherboards.
Finally, the cooler has been upgraded to the Torx-based SecuFirm2+ mounting system. To make things even better, the NH-D15 G2 comes with a massive six-year warranty, making it an ideal choice for those needing a high-end cooler.
Noctua offers four variants of this cooler. The regular option, with its medium base convexity, is best suited to the AM5 platform. Meanwhile, the high-base convexity model is a great fit for LGA1700 processors.
A low-base convexity model will also be launched, making it compatible with flat CPUs on platforms like AM4, LGA2066, and more. To wrap things up, the company is offering its NF-A14x25r G2 fans separately for those looking to upgrade existing heatsinks.
Noctua’s NH-D15, NH-D15S, and NH-U14S coolers can be upgraded with the new fans. A square frame variant of the fans is also being worked on, and it will be released in September for water cooling radiators.
