Includes Stalker 2 At Biggest Xbox Booth!

It was previously revealed that Xbox is going all out to bring its biggest booth to Gamescom to show off the incredible games. The gaming giant has also expected to break its record by making 5% more in revenue in Q1 FY24 after the launch of Starfield.

A recent report revealed Stalker 2 would make an appearance at Gamescom, being available for the attendees to play. Following the report, Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox will bring 25 playable games at Gamescom 2023.

Why it matters: Gamescom has been a massive event in the industry for several years. While events like E3 were canceled in 2023, the German event is still going strong.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl

In addition to Stalker 2, the list of playable games includes titles like Payday 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Library.

FromSoftware’s Armored Core 6 will also be available to the public, allowing them to experience the fast-paced mech combat for the returning franchise.

Gamescom attendees will be able to see more of Bethesda’s most ambitious RPG project. Starfield and Forza Motorsport will be featured in exclusive theatre presentations ahead of their release in the coming months.

The gaming giant is also bringing live streams for viewers at home. Xbox confirms 3-hour live streams each day, featuring deep dives for various games throughout Gamescom 2023.

While Starfield may not be playable at the event, the game is releasing in just over a month. Therefore, the wait for Bethesda’s latest RPG is almost over.

Gamescom will run from August 23 to August 27. In addition to Xbox, gaming giants like Nintendo will join the event, leading to an exciting few days for the industry.
