Launching In September With 1TB Storage!

Xbox Showcase has just ended with many new reveals like Fable and the release date for Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty.

In addition to various new games and updates, Phil Spencer has announced a new Xbox Series S in Black with 1TB of storage.

Xbox has named it the Carbon Black edition, representing the shift to a color similar to the Xbox Series X.

However, the console has seen a small bump in price. The Xbox Series S Carbon Black edition will be released for $349, which hurts its value proposition compared to the previous price of the console.

While the original Xbox Series S was launched with a price tag of $299, it came with 512 GB of storage. The new release will address this complaint, but users will need to pay a bit more.

Phil Spencer also confirmed that Microsoft increased the shipment of the Xbox Series S|X consoles due to the massive demand. The consoles have recently faced shortages, but this will no longer be a huge problem.

Fans who want to order it can visit the official website of Xbox, as the pre-orders will start later today.
