More Games From Netflix!

Netflix is expanding its gaming business, with new titles set to release in 2023. In a recent update, the streaming company has revealed that more than 40 games are coming later this year.

Netflix launched its mobile games in late 2021. Since then, the streaming service has offered over 50 games, and 16 more titles are currently in production from first-party studios.

Netflix Games

This gaming push will be aided by veteran games developer Ubisoft. Netflix is already involved in a partnership with the French studio, with Valiant Hearts: Coming Home releasing on the service in January.

Mighty Quest: Rogue Palace is the next game from this partnership, with an April release date. Additionally, Netflix is working on a sequel to Too Hot to Handle: Love is a Game, a popular game based on the Tv show Too Hot to Handle.

Famous Director Zack Snyder has also promised a new RPG game based on his upcoming franchise, Rebel Moon. However, it is unclear if Netflix will be involved in the project since the Director claims the title is based on a huge scale.

Netflix has not strayed too far from mobile games, so the Rebel Moon RPG may be outsourced to a more prominent and experienced developer.

The company has also contemplated a push for cloud gaming. With its experience in film and tv show streaming, Netflix could use its lessons to become a significant competitor in the cloud gaming market.
