Release Brought Forward!

The zombie slaying franchise returns with Dead Island 2. Serving as the sequel to 2011’s Dead Island, the second game was announced in 2014, but the game faced development troubles for several years.

Nearly a decade later, the title is finally ready to be released. The developers have announced that Dead Island 2 has gone gold, and the game will be released one week earlier than initially announced.

In a world full of delayed games, fans will be delighted to learn that the title is coming earlier than they had expected.

Dead Island 2 promises to be a vibrant and action-packed adventure with a cast of six playable characters featuring unique personalities. Players can also customize abilities for incredibly varied gameplay builds.

The title also features co-op and takes players through iconic locations in Los Angeles. This should enhance an already fun experience, as players team up with their friends to take of countless hordes of zombies.

Dead Island 2 will be officially released on April 21, adding yet another exciting launch to a year packed with highly anticipated gaming releases. Fans can expect an over-the-top experience when the game hits consoles and PC platforms in just over two months.
