New Highs For Game Pass!

With the Xbox game pass service, Microsoft has seen great success due to the value for money it offers, considering you have access to over 100 high-quality games. Game Pass revitalized the Xbox brand, which is crucial in taking a significant portion of the market from its competitor, especially in Japan and Europe.

Today, Microsoft has announced that Xbox has attracted over 120 million active users during the quarter that ended in December 2022. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella also revealed that Xbox saw “new highs for Game Pass” during the quarter.

He further added;

“In gaming, we continued to pursue our ambition to give players more choice, to play great games wherever, whenever and however they want,”

Below you can find the summary of Microsoft Outlook Q3 FY2023:

  • Overall gaming revenues decrease from about 7% to 9%
  • Xbox content and services drop about 2% to 4%
  • Windows OEM revenue drops about 15% to 30%
  • Devices (Surface) revenue slips about 40%

During the product showcase on Wednesday, Microsoft is excepted to release many Xbox games, such as Redfall and Forza Motorsport.
