All Game Pass Ultimate Benefits On Five Xbox Accounts!

In September 2022, Microsoft announced they are testing a new tier for Game Pass ‘Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family’ in Ireland and Colombia. And now it looks like Microsoft is gearing up to publicly launch this tier of Xbox Game Pass in the US as well.

As spotted by a ResetEra user and shared by Idle Sloth on Twitter, Microsoft is advertising ‘Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family’ on the PC Xbox App.

The primary benefit of this new tier is that it will give access to all the Game Pass Ultimate benefits on a total of five Xbox accounts at a much lower price. And if we talk about the pricing of it, in Ireland, it launched at a price tag of €21.99/ month.

For comparison, in Ireland, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate costs around €12.99/ month. So, if the pricing is a concern, then Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family is an intimidating deal if your friends or family buy Xbox Game Pass Ultimate separately each month.

Other than that, Microsoft is not pushing you to live in the same house or use the same internet to avail of this subscription tier, as you are good to go as long as all the members added to the subscription service are from the same country. This feature makes it more intriguing and a hard-to-pass deal.

As mentioned by Idle Sloth in his tweet, Microsoft might officially announce Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family in the US on its upcoming showcase ‘Developer Direct,‘ which is rumored to be on 25th January 2023 at 12 PM PT. Per previous reports, the showcase will reveal in-depth details about Redfall, Minecraft Legends, and Forza Motorsport.

But we never know what else they have in store for the fans, and it would be an exciting experience for the Xbox fans. If true, this showcase will be the first Xbox-exclusive showcase in a long time.

So, what are your thoughts about Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family? Do you think the current pricing of it in Ireland is worth the benefits it offers? Let us know in the comment section below.
