AMD Ryzen 7000X3D Series Processors Launch Delayed Till Further Notice

Launch On Valentine's Day Cancelled!

AMD had intended to launch the Ryzen 7000X3D series processors on February 14th this year, but that is no longer the case. AMD is also not ready to share details regarding when the new processors will come to the market.

According to the official statement of AMD;

“As you know, today AMD.com briefly published a launch date for the Ryzen 7000X3D Series Desktop processors; however, that date is incorrect. We have not confirmed a launch date at this time.

We will update these processors’ expected availability at a future date.”

This year, AMD will launch three Ryzen 7000X3D chips, including Ryzen 9 7950X3D, Ryzen 9 7900X3D, and the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. AMD’s best processor, the Ryzen 7950X3D, will come with 16 cores and 32 threads, running at 120-watt TDP.

Furthermore, the new processor will also feature a massive 144MB of L2 and L3 cache. AMD is also calling the new Ryzen 7950X3D their “ultimate processor for gamers and creators,” simultaneously, the processor could perform up to 24% better than its rival, the Core i9-13900k, in games, as per red camp.

Un-launching the Ryzen 7000X3D chips on the desired date does not mean AMD would not be launching them in February. Though for now, there is no official launch date mentioned by AMD yet. Maybe the red team is trying to secure acceptable units before launching the Ryzen 7000X3D processors so everyone can get their hands on one at launch.

With the Ryzen 7000 series launch with 3D V-Cache technology, AMD is also looking to regain its spot as the best CPU manufacturer, especially after Intel gave them tough competition last year.

What are your thoughts on the Ryzen 7000X3D chips? Would you be investing in one?
