Microsoft’s annual Xbox Developer Direct will be held later this month, on January 23. Previously, it was teased that the developer showcase would feature an unannounced title, adding to the excitement.

Insider Jez Corden has now come forward, stating that the Xbox Developer Direct will be bigger than Microsoft suggests. 

Why it matters: While Microsoft has not directly discussed Developer Direct, the showcase is being teased to feature multiple big reveals.

It has already been confirmed that ID Software will discuss DOOM: The Dark Ages before its release later this year. Moreover, it is speculated that we will learn more about titles like Fable and 33 Immortals.

However, Xbox may have some huge news for Developer Direct regarding its multiplatform strategy. Earlier, it was reported that Xbox wanted the best of Xbox and PC in handheld consoles, with changes starting this year. What better event to discuss this further?
