The upcoming Xbox Developer Direct will feature in-depth looks at South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and the highly anticipated Doom: The Dark Ages.

Along with these titles, the event will offer a teaser for a “brand new game” that hasn’t been revealed yet. Fans and industry insiders already speculating about the mystery title.

Some rumors point to a remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. However, a reliable insider says this project is set for a 2025 release, so it may not be the surprise in question.

However, no one can truly rule out the Oblivion Remake as the surprise announcement at the Xbox Developer Direct.

Moreover, we might get a new gameplay trailer for Doom: The Dark Ages. Set in a techno-medieval world, it will explore the origins of the Doom Slayer.
