Ahead of this event, the gaming giant has shared more details to set expectations for the fans. According to Xbox, fans can expect to see a whopping 50 titles at its booth.
Why it matters: The gaming giant already had a strong showing at Gamescom last year, so expectations are higher now. It has also been said that Xbox has yet to reveal various first-party titles.
Gamescom is scheduled to run between August 21 and 25, offering several days of new announcements, playable demos, interviews, and more. Elaborating on its biggest booth, Xbox confirms that it will feature over 50 titles. A few of the titles that will show up include:
- Avowed
- Ara: History Untold
- Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred
- Towerborne
- Atomfall
- Star Wars Outlaws
- Ark 2
Moreover, the gaming giant confirms it will host theatre presentations for the big hitters. Indiana Jones, Avowed, and the Starfield DLC will receive the most attention here. Perhaps the studios will share the final release dates for these titles.
Xbox will also focus on various indie projects during Gamescom. All of this will go on for multiple days, and the gaming giant confirms that three days of broadcasts are planned to share the event with fans worldwide.
It is important to note that PlayStation is skipping Gamescom this year, leaving Xbox as the biggest attendee. Therefore, the latter has an opportunity to steal the spotlight later this month.
