The Xbox Series X launched nearly two years ago. The console has slowly picked up the pace, and the Xbox Series X|S consoles are shaping up to be among the best offerings from the gaming giant.
Both Xbox Series consoles vary drastically in terms of aesthetics. The Xbox Series X looks more like a traditional PC and is available in Black color. However, Xbox Series S is available in White and looks similar to Microsoft’s previous consoles.
In past generations, Microsoft has had multiple colored variants of each console. This has not been the case for the Xbox Series X|S, but things could change soon. A White Xbox Series X console has now been spotted in a brand new advertisement from Logitech.
A new trailer for the upcoming Astro A30 Wireless Headset has been uploaded. The white color seems to be the ongoing theme throughout the trailer, and one particular shot shows multiple white consoles and accessories. This shot also showcases the supposed White Xbox Series X.
Traditionally, PlayStation and Xbox have released various colored consoles in every generation. Microsoft has also launched a white Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. Consequently, Microsoft could be looking to launch a white console to match their latest Xbox Elite controller.
Logitech has also announced a new streaming handheld that supports Xbox Cloud gaming and features a similar color scheme. This could mean that a white Xbox Series X was just picked for the trailer to maintain consistency.
Logitech could have also picked the Xbox Series S if the theme was the company’s only concern. This choice could mean that Microsoft has quietly teased a brand new variant for the gaming giant’s most powerful console.
However, no official confirmation has been made by Microsoft. Judging by past consoles, it would be safe to assume that a white variant is inevitable, but it would be wise to take things with a grain of salt until further confirmation.
PlayStation has also revealed a brand new Gray Camouflage variant for the PlayStation 5. As a result of the console’s design, the company will sell plates with the custom design.
On the other hand, the Xbox Series X has also seen a few limited edition designs like the Halo Infinite Limited Edition. If this new advertisement continues, a white Xbox Series X could soon join Microsoft’s line-up of console offerings.
