New Transformers Game Is Coming!

Recent leaks have hinted at an upcoming Transformers game for some time. New artwork for the alleged Transformers game was revealed a few days ago, and fans were curious to learn more about the project.

Transformers Reactivate has now been officially revealed at The Game Awards 2022. The reveal features a cinematic trailer, introducing players to the upcoming title.

The trailer is shown through the perspective of a Transformer being repaired by four humans. Flashbacks also appear to depict a post-apocalyptic setting for the game, but not much else is seen in the footage.

However, the game’s official website has revealed more information about Transformers Reactivate.

The game’s description confirms the post-apocalyptic setting in the trailer. It states that the Earth has already been taken over, and the greatest threat to humanity has already won. The description also reveals more information about the gameplay elements for Transformers Reactivate.

Players can join forces with other Transformers in online co-op as they defend the Earth. A Closed Beta is also planned for 2023, and players can currently sign up for a shot at an invitation to the beta.

Furthermore, Splash Damage is leading the development of the game. The developer has previously worked on titles like Gears Tactics and Dirty Bomb, giving fans some hope for the future Transformers game.

Transformers Reactivate also promises a unique and weighty feel for the Autobots with seamless conversion between a bot and vehicle forms. The CEO of Splash Damage also claims to be a huge Transformers fan, promising an experience that the fans deserve.

Transformers Reactivate will be available across consoles and PC. While an exact release date has not been specified, fans can expect to learn more about the game next year when the closed beta goes live.

Are you looking forward to the game? Will you play Transformers Reactivate? Let’s discuss this in the comments.
