Physical Collector's Edition Will Be Available Too!

Starfield is arguably the most awaited RPG of this year. The game was initially revealed in 2018 and has garnered much attention since. While much of the game’s details remain unknown, a new leak has revealed Starfield’s various editions and their prices.

Why It Matters: 2023 is stacked with AAA releases, and various new titles, along with Starfield, are selling for the increased $70 price. The game’s editions cost more on Xbox Series S|X than on PC, which may displease Xbox owners.

This information comes from Billbil-kun, a credible insider who posted a blog on DeaLabs mentioning the details.

The game will be available in the following editions: Standard, Premium (Deluxe), and Constellation (Collector’s Edition). Consumers can buy the standard edition for €70 on PC and €80 on the Xbox Series X|S, whereas the Premium edition will cost €105 on PC and €115 on the Xbox Series X|S.

The Constellation Edition of the game is the collector’s edition, which will cost €300 on both PC and the Xbox Series X|S. It should be noted that this edition will not be available in the digital format.

It is also worth noting that, according to the leak, the price of the premium edition of the game is currently just an estimate and has not been confirmed.

These prices are higher than usual, suggesting that Starfield may include a season pass for DLC content. They are also higher on Xbox consoles compared to the PC version. On the bright side, Starfield will be a Day One Game Pass title, allowing Game Pass subscribers to easily play the game without having to pay a hefty amount.

It is also unknown what additional content will be included in the constellation and premium editions. The Xbox Game Showcase is just around the corner, featuring a dedicated hour for Starfield, which could reveal more information about the game.
