The latest PlayStation State of Play event was quite exciting, as it revealed details about plenty of projects that no one expected. The notable industry insider Shinobi has subtly commented that Sony has prepared more for next year than it has currently let us on. In other words, we might see the reveal of even more games in the upcoming months.

Why it matters: The subtle remark of the insider suggests that Sony might announce even more projects for the next year than it currently confirmed in the PlayStation State of Play showcase.

Fans have started to think that Sony will likely have another decent showcase at the end of the current year—likely in The Game Awards 2024 event. It could reveal more projects that were just unable to make the mark during the recent State of Play showcase. However, the exact games and their numbers are still up in the air.
