The studio recently took to X and broke the exciting news. As per Housemarque, extended gameplay of the title is coming later this year, likely at one of the many upcoming gaming events.

With Summer Game Fest set to go live in just two months, Saros could be one of the many games featured at the event with several minutes of gameplay. Alternatively, PlayStation could debut the gameplay footage at a State of Play, much like the reveal trailer itself.

Nonetheless, replies to this post indicate that fans are certainly excited to see what Housemarque has in store this time. Returnal is still considered one of PS5’s best exclusives, so it’s easy to see why fan expectations are at an all-time high.

It is important to note that Saros is not due for release till 2026. Therefore, fans will have to wait a while after the gameplay footage goes live, so Housemarque will likely do its best to impress the fans with the game’s upcoming showing.
