Resident Evil 2 Remake Was Released 4 Years Ago Today

The Resident Evil series has been one of the most adored ever since it came out. Fans worldwide have enjoyed and been frightened by the games, and many are always anticipating upcoming instalments in the series.

Resident Evil 2 remake, one of the most adored remakes of all time, was launched by Capcom on January 25, 2019, and it was a massive success. Today is the 4th anniversary of the Resident Evil 2 remake, only 4 days after the original Resident Evil 2 celebrated its 25th anniversary.

Resident Evil 1 Remake

The Resident Evil 2 remake was the gateway for Capcom to return to the start of the Resident Evil franchise, which thus led to the remake of Resident Evil 3.

As has already been announced, the upcoming remake in the Resident Evil series is the Resident Evil 4 remake, which is eagerly anticipated by many. The Resident Evil 4 remake has been scheduled for March 24, 2023, and is expected to include significant changes to the original story.

Furthermore, Capcom’s recent new trademark has also hinted towards a Resident Evil 1 Remake, which would be a massive success if appropriately executed as it has been highly demanded by many. Also, Resident Evil 9 has been rumored to be in development, so it looks like Capcom is currently working on multiple games.

We are eager to see where Capcom will take the Resident Evil series in the future because they have been doing an outstanding job with it. This is the limited information we have for now, but we will be looking for more news regarding Resident Evil in the future.
