The Star Wars franchise has had its fair share of gaming adaptations. However, the IP is more popular than ever and continues to expand with various Tv shows and movies. Recently, The Mandalorian became one of the most well-received Star Wars Tv shows.

Featuring the journey of a lone Mandalorian bounty hunter, the Tv show quickly resonated with audiences. A recent concept art from a UI Technical Artist at Dice also gives fans a small glimpse of a potential gaming adaptation.

Why it matters: The Mandalorian Tv show has received three seasons since 2020, and its popularity has also led to demand for a gaming adaptation.

As seen above, the Technical Artist has made concept images for various parts of the game.

The first image shows a potential main menu. While it looks basic in nature, the developer has an excellent idea for a transition to gameplay, suggesting that the stars would warp into lightspeed and load players to their last known location.

Another image shows potential customization options with various helmet colors and designs. Similar customization has been featured in Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

While all of the images look great, the most impressive art features a massive environment, showcasing the potential of an open-world Mandalorian game.

Following the developer’s social media post, many fans have expressed interest in a Mandalorian game incorporating similar elements, with some calling it their dream Star Wars title.

Dice has already worked on various Star Wars games in the past, with the latest title being released in 2017. The studio is busy with the Battlefield franchise, so a new Star Wars game from Dice may not be released soon.

Still, players looking for an open-world Star Wars adventure with a lone survivor can look forward to Star Wars Outlaws from Massive Entertainment. The game features Kay Vess using her wits to survive in a massive world full of threats and grand adventures.
