Get Ready For Ghostrunner 2!

The Ghostrunner franchise is returning with its exhilarating, fast-paced, and challenging parkour combat gameplay. Ghostrunner 2 was first announced on May 24 during the PlayStation Showcase, scheduled for 2023.

However, reliable leaker Billbil-kun has revealed the game’s release date ahead of the official announcement. According to the leaker, Ghostrunner 2 will be released on October 26.

Why it matters: The first game sold over 1 million units and immediately became popular due to its addicting gameplay loop and challenging encounters. This has led to plenty of anticipation for the sequel.

Billbil-kun has proven to be a reliable leaker in the past, and his latest information comes from the Epic Games page. The leaker confirms Ghostrunner 2 will be priced at $40 for the standard edition, making it significantly cheaper than most new titles releasing today.

This release window means that the game will compete with the likes of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage since October was already a stacked month for game releases in 2023.

Following the leak, an official announcement is expected to follow soon. The fast-paced parkour action game will also be part of Microsoft’s booth at Gamescom, allowing players to try the revamped mechanics of the sequel.

Much like its predecessor, Ghostrunner 2 will continue the trend of tough encounters that demand a thoughtful approach to each encounter thanks to cumming enemies leaving little room for error.

Ghostrunner 2 will follow the events of its predecessor, taking place one year after the first release.

The game is also confirmed to be skipping last-generation consoles, allowing the first-person action game to use new hardware for maximum visual fidelity and gameplay flexibility.
