While nothing is officially confirmed, rumors have also hinted at the specifications that PC users can expect.
The GeForce RTX 4070 is claimed to feature the same GPU used in the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. However, the upcoming graphics card will feature 5888 CUDA cores. This should put it behind the more expensive GeForce RTX 4070 Ti in terms of performance.
The 192-bit bus and 12GB GDDR6 memory will also carry over from the Ti variant, but rumors have claimed that Nvidia might launch the GeForce RTX 4070 in three memory configurations.
If true, this would allow Nvidia to spread the RTX 4070 across multiple price points, offering more choices to consumers based on their preferences and memory requirements for gaming.
Nvidia has scheduled a GTC keynote for March 21. The graphics card will be officially revealed at the event, with the release date announcement.
The upcoming graphics card will support all the bells and whistles fans have come to expect from the RTX 40 line-up. 3rd Gen RT cores, 4th Gen Tensor cores, and DLSS 3 features, like frame generation, will be included in the GeForce RTX 4070.
However, the price point will continue to be an exciting discussion. The RTX 4000 line-up has seen a considerable price jump over its predecessor, and a similar trend is expected with the upcoming launch with a price difference of around $100-$200 lower than the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.
