[Press Release] G.Skill has once again demonstrated its dominance in the DDR5 memory market. The company is currently attending Computex 2024, offering consumers a new look at memory that pushes speeds up to DDR5-10600 on various high-end motherboards.
For the first jaw-dropping demonstration, a 32GB kit(2x16GB) has been shown to achieve a speed of DDR5-10600 on an AMD Ryzen 5 8500G and Asus ROG Crosshair X670E GENE motherboard.
Moving on, G.Skill combined low latency and high frequency for one of its demonstrations. Paired with an Intel Core i9-14900K and Asus ROG Maximus Z790 motherboard, the DDR5 CL38-52-52-143 memory achieved jaw-dropping results.
Offering 48GB(2x24GB) of memory, these kits reached 9000MHz for the ultimate combination of latency and frequency.
Following the new CAMM2 module standard, G.Skill aims to achieve similar overclocking results in this new standard.
Achieving DDR5-7800 CL36 overclocks, the company has successfully attained yet another exciting result. An Asus ROG Z790 Lengshuikeng Concept motherboard and and Intel Core i9-14900KF were used for the overclock.
G.Skill has also introduced the Zeta R5 Neo series to bring similar overclocking capabilities to workstation memory.
Demoed with a Ryzen Threadripper 7960X, this new R-DIMM memory achieved DDR5-8000 speeds while maintaining low latency at 96GB(4x24GB) capacity.
To further emphasize the importance of overclocked memory, G.Skill demonstrated its impact on AI benchmarks using two different sets of memory.
Comparing DDR5-8200 and DDR5-5200 U-DIMMs showed how faster memory impacted text generation inference and the Llama.cpp Benchmark. A similar comparison was also made using DDR5-6600 and DDR5-4800 R-DIMM kits.
