  • An insider suggests that the game will finally be revealed at Summer Game Fest with new gameplay.
  • Reports also state that the game will be launched in less than one year from now.

Looking at the top RPG franchises, BioWare comes to mind. With more than one IP that can be considered incredible for its contributions to the genre, this studio has a strong legacy, and the team is currently working on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.

While the game has received various cinematic and teaser trailers so far, it seems the team is gearing up for a new gameplay premiere. According to sources, this gameplay will be presented at Summer Game Fest or the Xbox Showcase.

Why it matters: The industry has been blessed with many exciting RPGs in recent years. The addition of a high-quality Dragon Age title to this slate would be even more exciting for enthusiasts of the genre.

BioWare Could Return To The Limelight Following Its Next Release

BioWare began work on the sequel to Dragon Age Inquisition many years ago, but the team has yet to share a full reveal.

According to a new report, Dragon Age Dreadwolf is set to receive a ‘full reveal this week.’ This information suggests that BioWare won’t release yet another cinematic trailer to continue the teasers.

Instead, we expected proper gameplay from the team. The report predicts that the gameplay will likely show up at Summer Game Fest since the team has partnered with Geoff Keighley in the past.

Dragon Age Dreadwolf has previously been featured at events like The Game Awards.  Another insider, Jeff Grubb, who has been the source of many leaks in the past, teased a similar gameplay premiere.

However, since neither insider has fully confirmed the reports, taking the information with a slight pinch of salt may be best.

Geoff Keighley Will Return To Host Summer Game Fest This Year

The RPG is said to be targeting a launch before March 2025. With March now less than one year away, June presents BioWare with the perfect opportunity to make a strong first impression before launching the RPG.

At the time of writing, Summer Game Fest is days away. This event is said to focus on already announced games this year, so Dragon Age Dreadwolf could end up being one of the many exciting reveals at the event.
