The studio is said to have done its best to live up to fan expectations, and director Hugo Martin states that no feature was left unpolished in Doom: The Dark Ages. He also dubbed this particular entry the biggest and most complete in the series to date.

The director concluded his message by thanking the players, giving them the final say on whether Doom: The Dark Ages will be considered the pinnacle of this long-revered IP.
