Deathloop Voice Actor Teases DLC/Sequel For The Franchise

New Loop In The Making?

Deathloop was released on 14th September 2021 as a PlayStation 5 timed exclusive. It was well-received by the critics as well as the fans. It became Arkane’s highly praised and celebrated game and made its way to winning The Best Game Direction and The Best Art Direction Award at The Game Awards 2021.

However, Arkane Studios has not added significant content to the game despite gaining critical fame. Only a free ‘Golden Loop’ update was offered with Deathloop’s release on Xbox consoles in September 2022, adding an extended ending and some multiplayer enhancements.

Nor has any sequel of Deathloop been teased by Arkane or Bethesda, and the only known projects from the studios in work are Redfall and Starfield, and there is no sign of a Deathloop sequel or DLC.

However, Colt’s voice actor Jason Kelley might have slipped some details about a potential Deathloop DLC or sequel. In a recent live stream with Streamy, when Jason was asked about his auditions experience with Arkane and did the studio used some code names for the project, he said:

Yes, I can’t say them because they’re still sometimes hiring us under the code names.

After this statement, Jason quickly realized that he should not have revealed that information on a live stream. Ozioma Akagha, who voiced Julianna Blake in the game, shrugs this situation off and says they heard nothing.

Interestingly this is not the first time that Jason has teased a Deathloop sequel; in May, Jason Kelley shared his photo in a recording studio with the caption implying that he is working on something Deathloop-related.

When a fan asked; is this a Deathloop DLC? He said it is a sequel but can’t reveal more due to the NDA.

Nevertheless, these are some exciting claims from Jason Kelley for the Deathloop fans. However, it would be wise to take this news with a grain of salt like every other rumor or leak until further confirmation from Arkane or Bethesda. It will be interesting to see what the studio has in store for the fans if these hints from the actor are accurate.

So, what are your thoughts about this? Do you want to play a Deathloop Sequel? Let us know in the comment section below.
