Almost Unplayable In the Docked Mode!

Story Highlight
  • Official footage by Nintendo revealed that Switch 2 runs Cyberpunk 2077 pretty well.
  • However, now that the console is out, different videos are surfacing on the internet.
  • A 12-minute video showcased that the game runs very poorly on the handheld, making it almost unplayable.

Cyberpunk 2077 is arguably one of the most gorgeous-looking games of this decade. With the Ray Tracing on and every setting maxed out, this game looks absolutely phenomenal. That said, people have wondered how this tech marvel would run on the Nintendo Switch 2

The handheld has officially been released, and it appears to be capable of running games like Cyberpunk 2077, but is the performance ideal? No. Footage of the game has appeared online, revealing that it is almost unplayable in some instances due to constant stutters

Why it matters: There wasn’t really much hype for the Switch 2, and now videos of the handheld running Cyberpunk 2077 poorly are causing controversy.

All Out Gaming on YouTube recently posted a 12-minute video showcasing how the latest Nintendo console handles the tech marvel. Just the normal traversal in Night City features a lot of stutters, making the game totally unplayable.

Additionally, in the video, the streets of Night City appear almost empty, yet the performance is still suboptimal. Fans are making fun of it by saying, “Its just that Night City’s citizen got Covid.”

The stutters in a game may not bother fans if they are in small quantities. However, the video showcases so many stutters that the game almost freezes in one place. Fans are making fun of the console, as it costs over $450 and will feature games that cost $80 or more

Fans are more angry because the official footage didn’t really feature such a poor performance. In fact, the official footage implied that the game runs as well as it does on the Series S and sometimes even looks better.

Nintendo didn’t even send the consoles to the reviewers for reviews, and now fans are saying they know why.
