Don’t Worry About PC, Buy PlayStation 5 Says Final Fantasy 16 Producer

Buy PlayStation 5 For Final Fantasy 16

The Final Fantasy franchise has been going strong for nearly four decades,  and another entry will soon join the long list of Final Fantasy games. Final Fantasy 16 is only a few months away, and excitement for the upcoming game is at an all-time high.

It is no secret that Final Fantasy 16 is a launch exclusive for the PlayStation 5. However, the game is only a timed exclusive, and many fans are curious about an eventual PC release.

The game’s Producer recently commented on these speculations, and he stated:

“Don’t worry about that(PC version); buy a PS5!”

The game’s latest trailer states that it will not come to other platforms until December 31, 2023. This has likely caused speculation about the possibility of a PC release six months later.

Much like Final Fantasy 16, Final Fantasy 7 Remake was also a timed exclusive to the PlayStation platform. The latter made its way onto the PC platform over a year after it was initially released on the PlayStation 4. Therefore, the same is likely to happen for Final Fantasy 16.

However, Naoki Yoshida wants fans to buy a PlayStation 5 to enjoy the game at launch. The team has been hard at work on the game, and the game is also said to showcase the power of the PlayStation 5

Many have also been curious about Final Fantasy on Xbox consoles. Microsoft has claimed that gaming is interested in bringing more Japanese games to the Xbox platform. Final Fantasy 16 would be an excellent addition to Microsoft’s growing list of Japanese games.

While an Xbox release seems unlikely, recent games like Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion have been released on Xbox consoles. Therefore, a slight possibility exists, and all hope is not lost.

Final Fantasy 16 comes out on June 22. Despite the speculations and demands, the Producer focuses exclusively on the PS5 console and has urged fans to look forward to the team’s work on the game.
