Marvel’s upcoming video game lineup is filled with great releases. Among them is EA’s open-world Black Panther game, which is yet to be properly revealed.

A reliable insider has just revealed exclusive gameplay details for Black Panther. According to the report, players can choose different heroes as the Black Panther — T’Challa, M’Baku, Azari, Shuri, Killmonger, and more.

Player choices and actions will shape the game’s narrative, opening up the possibility for unique stories and missions.

Why it matters: Many were doubtful about EA’s Black Panther game, especially considering how disappointing recent superhero games have been. However, these details are interesting and will certainly change the public opinion.

Additionally, weapons, armour, and gadgets will be unique to each Black Panther. This is similar to how Gotham Knights is, but the difference lies in that you swap your characters this time.

The game will also feature culture-rich cities and savannahs, with different NPCs and new lore.

In terms of gameplay, Black Panther will be a third-person game with an over-the-shoulder camera angle. Moreover, the combat replicates authentic African Martial Arts with Black Panther’s arsenal of high-tech gadgets and superhuman strength.

EA’s Take On Nemesis System Will Enhance The Storytelling For Its Future Releases

It seems that EA is doing its best to adhere to the game’s lore and respect the culture associated with the superhero. This is also, by far, the most fleshed-out superhero game we’ve seen thus far.

It was also reported that EA is set to debut its own take on the Nemesis system with the game. Another game featuring the same superhero, Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra, is set to release later this year.

This means we won’t get the Black Panther game before 2026 or even later.
