Great Start for Atomfall!

Story Highlight
  • Atomfall isn’t even a week old yet.
  • The title was released on day one on Game Pass.
  • A recent report suggests the title was the 5th most popular Xbox title during its debut week.

Atomfall was recently launched with a decent score of 75 on Metacritic. The title was also released on Game Pass on day one.

While March was already a considerable month, as Assassin’s Creed Shadows was also released just before the last week, it appears that Atomfall managed to attract quite a few players.

The title was the 5th most popular game on Xbox last week.

Why it matters: Although the game doesn’t offer the best combat, its other features, like bonkers mechanics, make up for those flaws.

As reported by True Achievements, Atomfall debuted as the fifth most popular game on Xbox last week.

While online games like Fortnite, Call of Duty, and Minecraft still take the top spots, Atomfall secured 5th position. Even though the game was released on 27 March, early access was available to the players who pre-ordered it.

Still, the game likely remains in the top 10 for another week, as the data mentioned was up until 30 March, suggesting that the report is only sharing the data for the first four days since Atomfall’s official release.

Atomfall received a decent score on Metacritic.

The recently released Assassin’s Creed Shadows also had a great start on the Xbox, but the game is already out of the 10 most popular games on Xbox already. So, it remains to be seen how Atomfall will perform on the platform in the coming weeks.
