Assassin’s Creed Mirage is Ubisoft’s latest AAA release and has gathered plenty of positive reviews. With a smaller world, a focus on the IP’s roots, and a safe approach, the game delivers mixed results but a fun assassin experience.
Like its predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available on both last and current-generation consoles. However, Xbox users have reported an error that makes the game unplayable on the platform.
Why it matters: This error has effectively rendered the game unplayable for many who purchased it on Xbox, leading to confusion and anger among fans.
Some users have taken to Reddit, highlighting the issue. Reddit user KPsea claims that Assassin’s Creed Mirage failed to launch on Xbox, throwing the error code 0x87e10bc6.
Redditors recommended the user reinstall the game, after which it did not appear in the library. This has led to frustration among fans, who had been waiting patiently to play the new Assassin’s Creed release.
According to Xbox, this error means that the game is unavailable in a certain region, unavailable in the game catalog, or temporarily unavailable. However, none of these should apply to Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
