Better Buy Than 4080 Super!

AMD’s flagship RDNA 3 GPU has received a new price cut in Germany. The Raden RX 7900 XTX 24GB with GDDR6X is now priced at 899 euros in Germany at Mindfactory. This puts it surprisingly close to the upcoming RTX 4080 Super, leaving many confused about the decision to buy a new graphics card.

AMD RX 7900 XTX

Mindfactory is offering the PowerColor RX 7900 XTX Hellhound for this price. However, stores like PCComponents are selling the same GPU for 999.90 euros, with even the refurbished version priced close to 1000 euros.

The cheaper MSI Gaming Trio variant is priced at 930 euros. However, this is also a refurbished graphics card. XFX is offering the SPEEDSTER MERC310 for 965.20 euros, marking the second cheapest RX 7900 XTX we could find.

Still, Mindfactory’s price is much lower. This outlet was initially selling the graphics card for 1,599 euros. However, it later dropped 1,170 euros, hitting prices of 950 euros on various occasions.

The latest price is an all-time low that nobody expected. For 899 euros, this GPU is much cheaper than the GeForce RTX 4080 Super, which will launch for 1,119 euros. According to leaks, the performance will also be mostly comparable.

However, the fact that Nvidia offers better ray tracing and AI-based features might make it worth the extra money. At the end of the day, the choice will depend on the requirements and preferences of each individual.
