- Ghost of Yotei’s trophy list has been leaked ahead of the official launch.
- The game, similar to its predecessor, has over 50 trophies, including the Platinum unlock.
- These trophies suggest gamers can easily spend over 100 hours playing the upcoming PlayStation title.
Ghost of Yotei is set to launch in just a few more days. Hot off the heels of Death Stranding 2, this release will mark yet another solid addition to the PS5’s first-party lineup.
Ahead of this release, leaks about the game are also beginning to flood the internet. Among the latest information, Ghost of Yotei’s official trophy list has shown up online, and it suggests that enthusiast fans will play the game for over 100 hours.
Why it matters: Now that AAA releases cost $70 or more, fans look for more and more value with each new release. Fortunately, Ghost of Yotei seems to deliver the value fans are looking for.
In total, the game has 54 trophies, ranging from Bronze, Silver, and Gold trophies. To nobody’s surprise, collecting all the trophies unlocks the prized Platinum trophy for Ghost of Yotei.
The trophies themselves range from the usual unlocks for story objectives to those that require completing a task a specific number of times. Various trophies also require obtaining all melee, ranged, and quickfire weapons.
Elsewhere, some trophies are reserved for specific combat interactions that may require fans several attempts to get right. Follow this link for the full trophy list, but do note that some trophies might contain minor spoilers.
As someone who already got the platinum for Ghost of Tsushima, I can see how Ghost of Yotei will require anywhere from 50 to 100 hours for the full experience. In fact, those who take their time going through the game could even end up spending longer trying to obtain the Platinum trophy.
Ghost of Yotei officially launches on October 2, and the game is looking better than ever. The official review embargo also lifts soon, so opinions from the media should be available in a few days from now.
