[Press Release] BIOSTAR has launched the EdgeComp MS-NANX 8G/16G, a fanless edge AI solution powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX with Super Mode, delivering up to 157 TOPS of AI performance. Built for real-time workloads, it supports applications in smart retail, industrial automation, transportation, smart cities, and agriculture.

The system supports NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB and 8GB modules, combining a 1024-core Ampere GPU with 32 Tensor Cores, up to an 8-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, and LPDDR5 memory offering 102.4 GB/s bandwidth. It can run advanced generative AI models, including LLMs, VLMs, and DeepSeek R1.

Expansion options include M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G/5G via Nano SIM. I/O ports cover dual Ethernet (1GbE + 2.5GbE with PoE), four USB 3.2, HDMI 2.1, RS232/422/485, CAN interface, and audio. Optional dual GMSL camera support enables vision-based AI.

Its fanless chassis ensures operation in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 50°C, with a 12V–20V DC input via a barrel jack or 2-pin terminal. Compact and durable, it is optimized for field and embedded use.

Running Linux with NVIDIA JetPack 6.2, the system supports modern AI tools, simplifying deployment across diverse industries and ensuring long-term adaptability.
