The Life is Strange TV adaptation does not include the original creators.

Christian’s confirmation on Twitter is a sharp jab at the Amazon MGM Studios’s Life is Strange TV show announcement.

He clarifies that the only people not involved with it are the creators, who are arguably the most important to have a faithful and successful TV reimagining of the popular series. Therefore, fans are extremely furious with Amazon.

The show is being written and directed by The End of the F***ing World creator Charlie Covell, who is also regarded as a successful and promising creator in the industry. Meanwhile, Square Enix, Story Kitchen, and Lucky Chap are producing the series.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure
Life is Strange: Double Exposure, the latest game in the IP, failed to satisfy fans.

Amazon MGM Studios already boasts experience in adapting several game franchises, such as the upcoming Fallout Season 2 and the live-action Tomb Raider.

As per the official description, the show follows Max, ‘a photography student, who discovers she can rewind time.’ It will follow Max figuring out her powers while trying to save the life of her childhood best friend, Chloe.
