While Kingdom Come: Deliverance 1 already had a solid fanbase and was quite synonymous with RPG fans, the sequel took the franchise to new heights. The first entry was still Warhorse Studios trying to cement its footing in the genre.

Still far from perfect, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 1 is still a solid RPG with a good narrative, on par with its sequel. Still, the game is in desperate need of a makeover, and thankfully, a remaster may be on the way as per the game’s social media account.

Why it matters: With Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s success, fans have been demanding a remaster of the first game now that Warhorse Studios has plenty of resources and even time on their table. Fans will be glad that their wish is soon to come true.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 1 Was Launched In A Poor State Due To A Limited Budget

Still, Warhorse Studios previously denied that they would ever remaster Kingdom Come: Deliverance 1. If anything, this new version could be a minor update with some additional features, along with support for higher framerates, resolution, and better loading times.

Warhorse Studios has also released a Switch 2 port for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 1 that fixed all the previous bugs and featured better loading times. As such, a next-gen console update is highly likely to happen.
