It has been over 2 years since the last God of War was released, so fans have longed to hear more about a sequel. While it might still be too early to reveal some details regarding the next God of War sequel, we are definitely getting some announcements from Santa Monica.
Christopher Judge, the legendary voice actor behind Kratos, has teased that new God of War announcements will be made during the next two weeks. Rumors have been swirling around the Trilogy remasters, so the studio might officially announce them.
Why it matters: While fans are hyped for the next GoW game, they seem more hyped about the Trilogy as it shows the real nature of Kratos.
During a live stream on Instagram, Christopher Judge, the voice behind Kratos, revealed that some new project announcements will be made during the next two weeks. However, the Game Awards will be held on 12 December, so it is unlikely that the announcements will be made during the show.
It is worth noting that the State of Play was also rumored, so Sony might hold its own show before one of the biggest events of 2024 takes place. The rumored Greek Saga remastered, as per the leaker, is also targeting a 2025 release window, so it would make sense to announce it before the year ends.
Fans think the announcement could be related to the Secret Level show with Kratos, as it will stream on 10 December. While it is a solid guess, Judge said there would be āannouncements,ā so even if one is related to the Secret Level show, there are going to be more about other projects.
Those projects could be related to the new God of War game and the rumored Greek Saga remaster. All in all, fans are pretty hyped about the upcoming announcements, hopefully during a State of Play.
