BioWare showed us the first glimpses of the game in the recent showcase, showing fifteen minutes of gameplay that amazed us, and the game is scheduled for fall 2024

While many game insights are already known, today, another intriguing detail has been revealed via an interview by Gamesradar.

The game is going to contain an enormous amount of content as, according to the report, Dragon Age: The Veilguard will have 700 characters and around 140k lines of dialogue characters.

It takes a long time to record 700 characters, you know – 80,000 lines or 140,000 lines with all the Rooks. It just takes time to make good.”

This means the game will have twice as many characters and dialogue lines as previous entries like Dragon Age Inquisition. Moreover, the studio spokesperson also explained why the game took so long.

He said that we had some other projects and we also had to make the game right, so to make things properly aligned, we took our time.

Furthermore, earlier reports suggest that the game will not be an open world like other titles in the franchise, so it’s interesting that the has such extensions even in linear gameplay.

Nevertheless, as an RPG, such a large number of characters and dialogue lines explains that the studio has pretty much focused on the RPG elements of the game

In the end, We expect Bioware to debut this RPG with great success because the game already looks good, and the studio has proficiency in RPGs.
