- Silent Hill 2 Remake is one of the biggest projects Bloober Team has worked on.
- While marketing has been very slow so far, the studio states that it will soon ramp up.
- The studio also hopes to share more information about Project C this year.
While last year was not so great for the Silent Hill franchise, 2024 is shaping up to be filled with more positive news.
Silent Hill 2 Remake was officially announced in 2022, and with the development heading toward the final stages, more information on this project is expected this year. Following Konami’s promise to share more details, developer Bloober Team believes the game’s promotional campaign is beginning soon.
Why it matters: Fans have been quite concerned with Konami’s silence about the remake over the last few months.
Bloober Team believes the promotional campaign for Silent Hill 2 will start "very soon".
CEO Piotr Babieno said its own Project C is already "very advanced" and they "have news planned for the whole year; it won't be only Silent Hill & Project C. There will be more surprises." pic.twitter.com/BhRuCRKQX7

During a recent interview, the CEO of Bloober Team, Piotr Babieno, talked about their upcoming titles. When speaking about Silent Hill 2 Remake, the CEO had a positive message for the fans. He stated:
“Konami is developing a promotional campaign, we believe that this promotion will start very soon.”
Bloober Team is also working on various other games, one of which is Project C. In the same interview, the CEO spoke about Project C, hinting that Silent Hill 2 Remake would not be the only game from the studio in the spotlight this year. He said:
“Project C is very advanced, so I would say that the first half of the year will be full of some information from our side.”
According to past information, Silent Hill 2 Remake is mostly complete, with Bloober Team currently focused on polishing the game. Since recent rumors have pointed to a nearing State of Play from Sony, the remake’s marketing could finally kick off in February.
Konami is currently working closely with PlayStations, so this mini-showcase could be the event that unveils a new gameplay trailer and release date of this remake.
Whatever the case may be, 2024 will be a massive year for Silent Hill.
Last year’s Silent Hill: Ascension was far from the comeback many had wanted for this series, but the remake is shaping up to be an authentic rendition of this horror classic that shook the gaming industry over 22 years ago.
With information on the remake and Project C just months away, we can’t wait to see what Bloober Team has been working on over the last year. This studio is not the biggest name among horror game fans, but this could easily change with the release of Silent Hill 2 Remake.
Thank you! Please share your positive feedback. 🔋
