AMD Confirms CES 2024 Conference For 8 Jan Focused On AI

Both AMD & Nvidia Will Be Present!

AMD’s CES 2024 conference is officially scheduled for this month on January 8.

As always, CEO Lisa Su will host the event. Joining her, Jack Huynh from the Computing and Graphics department will reveal the company’s future through a focus on artificial intelligence.

Like Nvidia, AMD is looking to increase its presence in the AI segment. This industry has become more prominent in gaming, research, and other fields, making it extremely profitable.

Last year, Nvidia reported record-breaking revenue and profits, making $18.1 billion in revenue last quarter.

During this event, AMD is expected to reveal several new products. This includes a number of new Ryzen processors from the Zen 3 architecture, including the Ryzen 7 5700X3D and Ryzen 7 5700, as well as the new Ryzen 8000G Desktop APUs.

Furthermore, AMD plans to release the RX 7600 XT 16GB desktop graphics card together with the RX 7700M and RX 7800M notebook GPUs in the graphics card market, so these might show up at the event.

However, AMD could also surprise us with the non-XT versions of its Radeon RX 7700 and Radeon RX 7800 graphics cards. Alongside AMD, Intel and Nvidia will host their own conferences at CES.

The latter will be a significant part of the event, unveiling the GeForce RTX 40 Super lineup. Intel’s announcements are still a mystery, but the company could showcase its own AI efforts from the last year.
